{"id":135,"date":"2009-09-22T10:31:03","date_gmt":"2009-09-22T18:31:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spice-guy.com\/kitchen\/?p=135"},"modified":"2009-09-22T14:26:42","modified_gmt":"2009-09-22T22:26:42","slug":"bacon-pineapple-jalepeno-baked-beans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spice-guy.com\/kitchen\/bacon-pineapple-jalepeno-baked-beans\/","title":{"rendered":"Bacon pineapple jalepeno baked beans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>8 ounces sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled<br \/>\n1 cup chopped onions<br \/>\n1\/2 cup sweet red bell pepper<br \/>\n4 cans (16 ounces each) beans(white, pinto, black, kidney)<br \/>\n1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained<br \/>\n1 or 2 diced jalepeno peppers<br \/>\n1\/4 cup chili sauce<br \/>\n2 tablespoons molasses<br \/>\n1 teaspoon dry mustard<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Combine all ingredients in a 3-quart Dutch oven.<br \/>\nCover and cook over medium low heat for at least 1 1\/2 hours, stirring occasionally.<br \/>\nServes 12.<\/p>\n<p>If you have a smoker you can(should) do this:<\/p>\n<p>Place the beans in an aluminum disposable pan and place them in the smoker right under the meat that is being smoked so the drippings fall into the beans.
