{"id":31,"date":"2005-09-10T14:42:24","date_gmt":"2005-09-10T21:42:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spice-guy.com\/kitchen\/?p=31"},"modified":"2007-08-09T09:31:54","modified_gmt":"2007-08-09T17:31:54","slug":"cajun-crab-shrimp-pie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spice-guy.com\/kitchen\/cajun-crab-shrimp-pie\/","title":{"rendered":"Cajun crab &#038; shrimp pie"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One 9-inch deep pie shell<br \/>\n2 tablespoons butter<br \/>\n1\/4 green bell pepper, chopped<br \/>\n1\/4 cup onion, chopped<br \/>\n2 cloves of fresh garlic, finely minced<br \/>\nOne 3-ounce can mushroom pieces, drained<br \/>\n1\/2 pound lump crab meat<br \/>\n1\/2 pound shrimp, boiled and peeled<br \/>\n1 cup Cheddar cheese, grated, divided<br \/>\n1\/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated<br \/>\n1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce<br \/>\n1 egg, beaten<br \/>\n1\/2 cup mayonnaise<\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 350F. Partially bake pie shell at 400F for 5-7 minutes. Melt butter in large skillet and saute green onions, garlic and mushrooms.<br \/>\nAdd crabmeat, shrimp, 3\/4 cup Cheddar cheese, Parmesan, sauce, egg, and mayonnaise, stirring until evenly moistened. Drain off excess liquid if necessary.<br \/>\nSpoon into pie shell and bake at 350F for 20 minutes.<br \/>\nAdd remaining Cheddar cheese. Bake for 10 minutes.
