{"id":44,"date":"2006-11-08T14:18:34","date_gmt":"2006-11-08T21:18:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spice-guy.com\/kitchen\/?p=44"},"modified":"2007-08-09T09:26:36","modified_gmt":"2007-08-09T17:26:36","slug":"fetucine-in-salmon-sauce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spice-guy.com\/kitchen\/fetucine-in-salmon-sauce\/","title":{"rendered":"Fetuccine in salmon sauce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>2 tablespoons butter<br \/>\n10 ounces salmon, cut into thin strips<br \/>\n1 leek, sliced<br \/>\n1 red onion, thinly sliced<br \/>\n1 clove garlic, crushed<br \/>\n3\/4 cup light cream<br \/>\n3\/4 cup sour cream<br \/>\n1\/2 tablespoon cornstarch<br \/>\n2 tablespoons lemon zest<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon ground black pepper<br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon paprika<br \/>\n8 ounces dry fettuccine noodles<br \/>\n1\/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<p>Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the salmon, leek, onion, and garlic, and saute about 2 minutes. In a medium bowl, mix together the cream, sour cream, and cornstarch; stir into the skillet. Stir in the lemon zest, pepper, and paprika. Cook, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes, until sauce is thickened and salmon flakes easily with a fork.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente.
